​​​Well done to our Year 7/8 Debating team for their win during the opening round of the Apex Debating competition! ​​

Comprising of Shreya Ramdeo, Charlotte Hanemann, and Dinethmie Binduhewa, with Gabrielle Lovriha​ assisting as timekeeper, they competed in the opening round, debating the negative of “We should all have a brother or a sister", taking the win against Bremer SHS Team 1.

Debating is a valuable cocurricular activity, that develops vocabulary, public speaking and critical thinking skills whilst helping students grow in confidence. Just one of the many cocurricular activities available at St Augustine's College.
