A Masterplan is the foundational design document of any strategic development plan for an educational college. It reflects the needs of a college and the rapidly changing landscape of contemporary education.
We look forward to sharing and discussing this document with parents on Tuesday 27 August 2019 from 6pm to 7:30pm. The planning of this document has included collecting information from families, students and staff with the support of a consultant agency. It was important for the College to understand our culture of learning in a Prep to Year 12 Catholic setting before implementing structural concepts.
The findings highlighted there are five key human experiences that included: comfort, spirituality, learning for the future, community and connection to nature. There are also five key built environment objectives and they are: senior years precinct revitalisation, library and classroom revitalisation, outdoor learning areas, comfort and wellbeing and landscape strategic plan. It is this combination of providing contemporary education in a connected Catholic community that excites us moving forward.
