Community & Networking Opportunities

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We are very fortunate to have a passionate Parents & Friends Association (P&F) who offer invaluable support to our College and organise many events throughout th​e year for our community, including fundraising events w​here profits go back to support the College. The Executive Committee meet regularly throughout the year to discuss topics relevant to the College and coordinate events.

P&F & 2022 Fete Meetin​gs 2021

As all parents/carers are members of the P&F, they are welcome to join the executive committee for the P&F meetings which is a great opportunity to meet other parents, get to know staff & talk about anything relevant to the College. 

Additionally, members of the P&F are also part of the 2022 Fete Committee meeting, planning to make this popular community event possible. 

In 2022, the St Augustine's College Fete Theme is "Colour Fest" and is scheduled for Saturday 28 May 2022, 11.00am-4.00pm.

Attendance to meetings is also eligible towards the Parent Participation Plan (PPP) Levy Refund.

Scheduled Meetings for 2021 are as follows (dependent on COVID-19 Restrictions) & are held in the back classroom of the Bloxsidge Centre (Library):
  • Tuesday 12 October - Fete Meeting, 6.00pm
  • Tuesday 12 October - P&F Meeting, 7.00pm
  • Tuesday 9 November - P&F AGM
    • 5.30pm - 6.00pm Nibbles & Drinks
    • 6.00pm - Annual General Meeting
    • 6.30pm General Meeting​

P&F Executive Secretary - Position Available

The P&F is looking for an Executive Secretary - the secretary is very important to the efficient operation of any organisation. A secretary needs enthusiasm, initiative and an ability to work with the President. The Secretary’s Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare the agenda in consultation with the president and principal.

  • Notify members of meetings (date, time, venue).

  • Keep good records.

  • Receive and manage the correspondence.

  • Obtain reports from sub-committees.

  • Write up the minutes.

  • Understand the constitution​.
